About the Opportunity
Included below is a general summary of the duties and responsibilities for this Equipment Technician position.
- Participate in the design, development and implementation of new tools, fixtures and technology
- Assist in development process for automated manufacturing equipment used in the assembly of stacked die products
- Provide quick resolution of routine tool maintenance issues – Manage equipment uptime at greater than 95%.
- Initiate equipment and facility improvements.
- Define equipment preventative maintenance procedures and insure preventative maintenance schedules are followed to prevent unscheduled downtime.
- Drive cost reduction for facility and equipment related expenses
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 year technical degree, BS preferred
- 3-5 years previous equipment engineering / facility maintenance experience
- Assembly automation experience preferred
- Die attach, wire bond, pick & place or plastic molding equipment experience a plus
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing requirements
