Sunil Kaul

CEO

Mr. Kaul joins Vertical Circuits from Silicon Bandwidth, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. His success in commercializing technology, building operations and growing companies through focused business strategy adds outstanding leadership to the VCI senior management team. Mr. Kaul's previous company background includes Fairchild Semiconductor, Digital Equipment Corp, Sun Microsystems, Temic Semiconductor and AlliedSignal.

Marc Robinson

CTO

Mr. Robinson joined Cubic Memory, the predecessor to VCI, in 1996, as Vice President of Engineering and Operations, taking his current role as VCI’s CTO in 2001. Before joining VCI, Mr. Robinson served as Vice President, Technology Development and Quality for Sierra Semiconductor Corporation. Prior to Sierra, he was Vice President of Engineering, and Vice President of TQM and Quality at GEC Plessey Semiconductors, where he focused on product development, design quality, and worldwide TQM initiatives. Prior to GEC Plessey, he served as a Business Unit Director at International Microelectronics Products (IMP).

Patty Winters

VP Administration and Human Resources

Mrs. Winters has more than 15 years of experience in finance and human resources with high-tech companies in the Silicon Valley. Prior to joining Vertical Circuits in 2004 as the Director of Human Resources, she served as a consultant to various start-ups as a principal of Patty Winters Consulting.  From 2000 to 2003, she served as Director of Operations at Parallax Medical (until it was acquired by ArthroCare Corp) where she managed the finance and human resources functions and directed all strategic management/development programs. From 1993 to 2000, she held management positions with a variety of organizations in industries that include professional services, technology, and consumer products/services.

Ingu Yin Chang

VP Sales and Marketing


Prior to joining VCI, he was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Amkor Technology’s Western Region where he was responsible for strategic accounts and managed overseas sales. Mr. Chang joined Amkor in 1996 as a Technical Program Manager in their Santa Clara office and then went on to manage and oversee sales and marketing in Taiwan and Greater China. He began his career in 1989 as a Sr. Package Development Engineer at LSI Logic. He holds a M.S.E with an emphasis on Electronic Materials from the University of California at Berkley.

Charles Whyte

VP Product and Test Engineering

Mr. Whyte joins VCI after spending the last 17 years at SanDisk where he was predominantly involved in the development and management of memory card Product and Test Engineering, as a Senior Director.  Prior to SanDisk, Charles was Director of Product Engineering at Wafescale Integration, specializing in non volatile memory products.  A graduate in Physics, Charles also holds a MS in Microelectronic Design from the University of Edinburgh, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
